How do we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment?
When I first saw this building, tucked away behind the busy high street, I knew it would be perfect for children. This beautiful grade-listed building has been given a major refurbishment. The entire nursery has been opened up and brought the structure back to life; its high ceilings and open-plan finish create lots of natural light, and we have large playrooms that provide the right environment for children to learn and play. We’ve carefully considered our rooms and layout to make sure we maximize the opportunities our children and staff have within the building, creating fantastic spaces for everyone to spend their days in.
The bonus is that we are a 2-minute walk from Streatham Common, making it a perfect location for our second site as we know the opportunity to enrich the children’s learning through the outdoors is endless. We look to make the most of this space almost every day, not only benefitting from the enormous outdoor spaces but also placing an emphasis on the importance of spending time outdoors in the fresh air and exploring nature. We also encourage our families to be prepared for the day ahead as we want our children to love these spaces no matter the weather. Playing in puddles with raincoats and wellies, making snowmen in hats and gloves, or running in the sunshine with suncream and sunglasses are experiences we want for all of our children.
