Monkey Puzzle Streatham Common Day Nursery and Preschool are delighted to announce that from March 2024, we’ll be welcoming La Ola Spanish into our nursery to run their amazing Spanish lessons for our children.

Already a huge success at our sister nursery, Monkey Puzzle West Norwood, La Ola Spanish takes our children on an enchanting learning journey through a variety of themed adventures, all the while introducing them to the wonders of learning a new language.

Introducing a new language while a child is young is the best way to help embed the skills in the growing minds, helping them retain more and be able to apply it successfully as they get older. It boosts creativity, increases confidence and allows for an insight into a different culture that builds understanding of others.

Our children at Monkey Puzzle West Norwood have loved the lessons and love Patricia, who joins us each week with her guitar. Each class focuses on music and movement, playing games, singing songs and dancing along to the music, and is tailored to the age groups that are learning. Patterns, rhymes and rhythms are all key and create a fun, inviting atmosphere where the children are encouraged to have a go and try for themselves.

We can’t wait for March when they start to join us and we can officially say “Ola” to La Ola Spanish at Monkey Puzzle Streatham Common.
