This week, our children have had lots of fun exploring colours and textures at Monkey Puzzle Streatham Common. All of our age groups have been enjoying activities with a range of learning outcomes to help them learn, develop and, most importantly, have fun!

The children enjoyed exploring the various textures using their fine motor skills. This activity builds their sensory skills and promotes turn-taking as the children take turns sharing the resources with support from their adults.

Some of our children were using pipettes to explore the various colours and make their own beautiful and bright flowers. The children had some flower cut outs as a base, squeezing out their colour drops, using cotton pads to dab and even using their fingers to add more to their flowers which created various patterns.
